The Pet day
A family play day for South Witham village
Friday 19th September 2008 10-3pm
South Witham primary school
South Witham primary school invites you to join them for a free play day for all the family to enjoy. All ages and abilities welcomed.
Artists and playworkers will be working in school throughout the day to make, design, draw and play with animals, a theme that has been voted for and chosen by the children.
The event will be held throughout the school using the playground and school field as well as school hall and classrooms.
An animal farm will be coming into school bringing with them an assortment of domestic and exotic pets to handle.
We will be making a giant dinosaur which will be sited in the school grounds as well as looking after, learning about and drawing and making a whole range of animals.
Children from the school have been working with artists after school prior to this event to make some of their favourite animals which will be on display during the event.
The event is open to the local community who are invited to come and join in the fun. You can pop in for 5 minutes or stay and play and you would be very welcome.
